Larry running away from unwanted scratches
-
Like any pawlitical figure, Larry has had a scandal of his own. He's been known to get into occasional turf disputes with Palmerston, the Foreign Office cat. Since their territories are so close together, they've been caught engaging in staring contests on the pavement, hissing at each other with puffed tails, and have had at least one physical cerfluffle. Don't worry, the hooman security guards often step in to separate them, and then everything calms down quickly.

Larry the cat trips a photographer
-
Recently, this picture of Larry tripping a photographer went viral on X. He released a statement saying that he, in fact, did not trip the photographer, but the photographer stumbled and nearly squashed him. There's a whole video if you want to make your own assessment. Seeing as how clumsy some photographers can be, and how cats never lie, we're inclined to believe Larry's side of the story.
But seriously, though, cats never lie, right?
